Happiness Advantage
Our brain processes significantly better when it is in a positive mindset. I discovered different ways of training our minds to become happy and combined the findings with interaction design.
City Of Light
We need the sun with its brightness and warmth for happiness. We placed mirrors that would turn and bend on different spots in the city, and brought more sunlight into the center, to connect different places and people in a playful way.

Rip off the rip-off
Copying the work of others is a common thing; especially in the World Wide Web. Instead of being mad, Lernert & Sander, two Dutch graphic artists, faced the problem and let us rip them off – officially.
Electric Tree
It’s more important to change people’s thinking about energy consumption than investing in new pre-designed technology. We made a short animated movie about this and gave an example of how design can change people’s behavior.
Horizon
Looking at car customizers in China, we found, that they socialize in car clubs. We introduced an interactive dashboard which intensifies this feeling of belonging. It connects people and lets them feel like they are not alone in the car.
reAction
Every action is accompanied by a reaction. Sometimes we forget that we are part of the reaction caused by our own action. reAction is an interactive audiovisual installation that confronts the visitor with this issue.
b-covered
Instead of bringing the magazine to the tablet we put the tablet in the magazine. We created a concept for an iPad cover made out of recycled magazine paper.
Interactive Poster
Static posters are everywhere. But it is hard to catch people’s attention on one of these posters. Therefore we created an interactive poster that reacts on people passing by and that changes its content depending on the viewer’s distance.

MindSharing
In the future we won’t need any devices to share and access data. Technology will be implanted in the human body and extend our brain so we can share and record our feelings and moments or display additional data.
oTTo
oTTo is a concept of a weapon in the third world war that absorbs energy and converts it into light. Working with Arduino we created a physical prototype with basic human interactions.
Virtual Water
70 percent of the worlds total water consumption is used to produce food. We compared the virtual water in meat with the meat consumption for different countries in an interactive data visualization.
Light Forms
Light Forms is a lamp that can be dimmed by pulling or pushing the top and bottom parts together. It is produced out of very basic material, is multi-functional and provides warm light.
